Educational and Adventure Opportunities
Together, with Grandfather Mountain and Lees McRae College, we provide on-site presentations by trained Naturalists and Ecologists. Additonal day trips for an educational tour at Grandfather Mountain is also available. Youth can choose between Lutherock’s ropes courses, adventure tower, and group interaction course. For those feeling a little more adventurous, there is also rock climbing and our brand new 660-foot zipline! Between activities, your group can fill their days and nights with hikes, outdoor cooking, field sports, and creek walks.
Programs are typically three days and two nights, which includes seven meals. Scheduling is flexible and can be altered to meet your group’s needs and interests. You are also able to stay longer and add excursions, such as whitewater rafting, additional visits to Grandfather Mountain, caving, or hiking the Appalachian Trail.
